A Novel Approach to Measuring CO₂ Reduction for a Green Future

Why Measuring Microalgae Matters

Microalgae absorb CO₂ rapidly in small spaces, making them a powerful climate solution. But to scale their use—in urban air purification, industrial emission reduction, and verified participation in carbon markets—we need accurate, real-time data on CO₂ reduction.

However, Traditional Tools Fall Short

Gas chromatography is bulky and expensive, while infrared sensors miss rapid CO₂ changes. Without better measurement, microalgae’s full potential can’t be realized.

Algeo Carbontrack 360 - Novel Approach

The Algeo Carbontrack 360 is a compact, cost-effective, AI-powered sensor that monitors chlorophyll, light, and temperature, measuring CO₂ reduction in accurate, real-time detail. It not only detects CO₂ concentrations as low as 1 ppm, but excels at capturing sudden fluctuations. With Algeo Carbontrack 360 as a viable method, this unlocks more opportunities to integrate microalgae into Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, and support verified carbon credit programs.

These innovations are grounded in our published study, "Microalgae for sustainable pigment production: Integrating CO₂ fixation and food industry wastewater treatment.," —a scientific validation of the full Algeo system for scalable, sustainable carbon capture.
